Turkish President to Raise Issue of Genocide in Gaza at the UN
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will once again raise the issue of the ongoing genocide in Gaza at the UN General Assembly. He will appeal to the international community to take action to stop the ongoing Israeli atrocities in Palestine. The Turkish president made these remarks at a press conference on Sunday (September 21). Erdoğan stated that his address will discuss Turkey’s relations with the United States, the genocide in Gaza, and the ongoing instability in Syria. At the press conference, the Turkish president welcomed the recognition of Palestine by Western countries and called on other nations to take similar action. Erdoğan has previously spoken out against the brutality inflicted on Palestinians and has repeatedly condemned Israeli aggression in Gaza.
