Trump claims: Gaza war will end in three weeks

US President Donald Trump has announced the ‘finally ended’ of the Gaza war. He said that the war will be over in the next three weeks. He made this comment while talking to reporters on Monday (August 25). Al Jazeera News. The US president said, ‘I think in the next two to three weeks you are going to have a final end to this war.’ Trump said, ‘It has to end, because the brutal death and loss of life is increasing along with hunger and other problems.’ Although the Trump administration has promised to end the war several times in the past, it has not been implemented in practice. Instead, the US administration has provided Israel with billions of dollars in weapons and rejected international efforts to recognize a Palestinian state. Trump made this comment at a time when at least 21 people, including 6 journalists, were killed in successive attacks by Israeli forces on the Nasr Hospital in Gaza. Among them were journalists working for Reuters and Al Jazeera.
