Truck with 30 cows hijacked in the name of RAB

A truck loaded with 30 cows was hijacked in Savar by miscreants in the name of RAB. The robbery took place at 2:30 am today, Sunday (November 30) in the DEPZ area of ​​Ashulia. Later, the Ashulia police station conducted a quick raid and recovered the truck with five cows abandoned in the bypass area of ​​Mymensingh district at 8:30 am today. Ashulia police station OC Abdul Hannan told us that on receiving the information, a team of Ashulia police led by SI Anwar conducted a raid and was able to seize the truck. At that time, 5 cows in the truck were recovered. The truck has been kept at Ashulia police station. The police could not arrest anyone at that time.
It is learnt that when the truck carrying 30 small and large cows from Bogra reached the Ashulia DEPJET area on its way to Brahmanbaria, three microbuses disguised as RAB stopped the vehicle. Later, they took the driver, helper and other cattle traders hostage at gunpoint and put them in the microbus. They took the cattle truck to the Bypail Palli Bidyut area, turned the vehicle around and headed towards Mirzapur in Tangail. On the way, they beat up the driver, helper and three cattle traders near Chandra, forced them to get off the microbus and took the cattle truck away. Later, on receiving information, the Ashulia police station went to the spot and started an operation. In this regard, the OC of Ashulia police station further said that the police have already started a massive operation to arrest the remaining looted cows and the robbers disguised as RAB.
