Train services suspended on Dhaka-Mymensingh route

A coach of the Dhaka-bound Agniveena Express train derailed in Gafargaon, Mymensingh. The accident occurred on Monday (December 29) morning. As a result, rail communication on the Dhaka-Mymensingh route is suspended.
Railway sources said that the train derailed due to the removal of about 20 feet of rail track. However, no casualties were reported in the incident. Rail communication on the Dhaka-Mymensingh route has been temporarily suspended after the accident. Railway security forces and rescue teams are working at the spot. Efforts are being made to normalize communication quickly.
Police said that the accident occurred before entering Gafargaon railway station at 5:10 am today. Due to which Dhaka-Mymensingh rail communication is suspended.
