Top terrorist hacked to death in Rangunia, Chittagong

Police have recovered the body of a man named Rubel (30) from a park in Rangunia, Chittagong. The body was recovered from Khuroshia Ecopark at around 2:30 am on Wednesday (August 27). Rangunia Circle ASP Belayet Hossain said that the South Rangunia Police recovered Rubel’s body from Khuroshia Ecopark at around 2:30 am last night. Several injuries and signs of violence were found on the body. It is believed that he was hacked to death with a country-made weapon. He also said that Rubel has 7-8 cases against him. He is a top terrorist in the region and had been creating terror in the area for a long time. A post-mortem report has been prepared on the body. It is being sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for autopsy. He also said that at this time, an investigation is being conducted to find out who or what committed the incident.
