Top terrorist Emon has fled to Malaysia.

Sources said that Sanjidul Islam had crossed over to Malaysia three days before the attack on businessman Ehteshamul Haque on Elephant Road demanding ransom. Sources said that he had left the country with a passport under a fake name and address. Emon is now planning to make a second home there. His wife Khandaker Shahnaz Parvin Lina lives in Malaysia. She is the sister of another top terrorist in Dhaka, Titon. Emon is controlling the force from Malaysia.
On Tuesday, Dhaka Police Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sazzat Ali also said that he had also received information that Emon had fled to Malaysia. He is verifying the information. The Police Commissioner also said that he had received a proposal to announce a reward for the arrest of top terrorists involved in the crime after his release. After the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government on August 5 last year in the face of mass movements by students and the public, Dhaka’s top terrorists left prison one by one. This list includes top terrorists Trimoti Subrata Bain and Tokai Sagar who were awarded rewards. Killer Abbas and Arman have gone abroad after their release.
The source also said that after the murders in Dhaka, the government announced the first reward of Tk 50,000 each for the capture of Sweden Aslam, Joseph, Bikash and Prakash in 1998. But no reward was ever announced for the capture of top terrorist Emon. In 2008, the police brought back eight terrorists from Dhaka, including him, from India. Emon has been in prison since then. He had been controlling murders and extortion from prison. There are 33 cases against him, including multiple murders.
