Top terrorist arrested with firearms in Chittagong

Rapid Action Battalion RAB-7 has arrested top terrorist Shahidul Islam alias Buishasha, who is being discussed in Chittagong, along with firearms. He was arrested from in front of Finlay Square in the city’s Gate No. 2 area at around 10 pm on Saturday (December 20).
RAB said that there are cases against terrorist Buishasha in several police stations of the city on charges of involvement in arms, extortion and terrorist activities. During initial interrogation, he confessed that he used to carry out criminal activities in the city for Bara Sajjad, who is absconding abroad. Information is being collected about the source of the weapons, other members of this group and whether he is involved in recent violent incidents. RAB also said that Buishasha and his forces are involved in extortion, intimidation and threats of attacks on opponents in the city.
