Three leaders of banned Chhatra League and Swechchhasebak League arrested with petrol bombs
Joydebpur Police Station has arrested two leaders of banned Chhatra League and one leader of Swechchhasebak League from Baniarchala area of Bhawalgarh Union in Gazipur Sadar Upazila. The arrested are Bhawalgarh Union Chhatra League President Noman (28), Office Secretary Akash (25) and Bhawalgarh Union Swechchhasebak League Joint Convener Russell (35).
According to local sources, local people arrested three suspects yesterday (November 12). Later, a petrol bomb was found in their bags and the police were informed. The police arrested the three from the spot and brought them to the police station custody. Joydebpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Touhid Ahmed told us that the arrested have been taken to the police station custody and legal action is being taken against them.
