‘Those who are against the people will have the same fate as the Awami League’

Those who stand against the people, mock the people, will disappear from politics like the Awami League. We want this young generation to be with the people. We want to embrace the people’s thoughts and take the politics of the future forward.’ He said these things while addressing a road meeting organized at the outer ring road of Sundarganj, Gaibandha at 8:45 pm on Sunday (November 9).
President of the People’s Rights Council Nurul Haque Noor said that the Awami League is a traditional political party. The oppression and torture that Jamaat-BNP leaders and activists have inflicted on dissenters in the last 16 years, tracking down their leaders and activists, filing cases against them, attacking them, evicting them from their areas and finally handing over the independence and sovereignty of this country to India, has brought an end to Awami League politics in this country as a result of the joint rebellion of the conscious and educated new generation of school, college and university students and the student population.
The former VP of DUCSU said, “The impossible task that some of you, some of your brothers, these young people have accomplished through mass uprisings has not been possible even in the last 50 years.” The politics of division, violence, hatred, violence and fighting that has been going on in Bangladesh for the last 50 years. In that politics, the common people, the people have shed blood for the leaders. There are dead bodies for the leaders. But the leaders are right among the leaders. The leaders talk on the phone, discuss, and the workers fight on the streets and give their lives. Therefore, the future politics and direction of Bangladesh after the July coup will be determined by the new generation and brave youth of this country.
Noor also said that the youth who stood in front of the bullets and raised their voices against fascism, who brought this change, will build the future Bangladesh, InshaAllah. These youth are your children, some of your brothers. So you have to stand by these youth.
