    There may be domestic and foreign fuel in the ISKCON issue.

    Advisor to the Home Ministry of the interim government, Lieutenant General (retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, said that there may be domestic and foreign fuel in the ISKCON issue. One or two banned organizations may also be involved in it.

    He said these things in response to questions from journalists after discussions with officials from various departments of the Sylhet Circuit House administration on Tuesday evening.

    The Home Advisor said, ‘Discussions are being held on the students’ movement. It is hoped that a solution will be reached soon. We do not want to be harsh on the students’ movement in any way.’

    Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that all the weapons looted in August have not yet been recovered. The operation to recover those weapons is ongoing. Apart from this, the government is working to increase the activities of the community police. The activities of the community police will first be accelerated in Dhaka. Later, it will be done in phases throughout the country.

    He said, ‘A lot of fake cases have been filed all over the country. We will form a committee to ensure that no innocent person is harassed in these cases. Those who file fake cases should be identified.’

    The Home Affairs Advisor said that the law and order situation in the country has improved a lot since August and will continue to do so. That is why everyone has to cooperate.
