There is no alternative but state reform: Dr. Zara warns

Commenting that the objective of the July mass uprising has not been achieved even after a year, National Citizens Party (NCP) Senior Joint Member Secretary Dr. Tasnim Zara said that the state must be reformed. She said this at an event on Monday (August 4). The NCP senior joint member said, We could not achieve the objective for which the uprising was held even after a year. However, this state must be reformed. We will not accept anything other than reform. Dr. Tasnim Zara said, ‘We do not need a constitution that gives its citizens the right to commit disappearances and murders. The police who shoot at citizens cannot be in the new Bangladesh. But how far is the progress of police reform?’
