There is a risk of storm over 11 districts of the country including Dhaka by noon. There is also a chance of thundershowers. This information was revealed in a weather forecast for the country’s inland river ports from 5 am to 1 pm today, Wednesday.
Meteorologist Md. According to the notification signed by Manowar Hossain, there is a risk of storm over Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet districts.
Temporarily gusty or gusty winds of 45 to 60 km per hour may occur from south or southeast direction. Also there may be rain or rain with thunder. Therefore, the meteorological office has asked the river ports of these areas to show the number one warning signal.
Meanwhile, another weather bulletin said that the normal low pressure of the season is staying over the South Bay of Bengal. In this situation, there may be temporary rain with gusty wind or rain with thunder in some places of Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and a couple of places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions till evening.
