Popular Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will sing at a concert titled ‘Echoes of Revolution’ to support the families of those martyred and injured in the July-August uprising. The concert is being organized by the ‘Spirits of July’ platform at the capital’s Army Stadium on December 21. The organizers have already started selling tickets for the concert. VIP category tickets are being sold for a maximum of 10,000 taka on the ticket sales platform Get Set Rock. Tickets are also available for 4,500 and 2,500 taka.
In addition to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the concert will feature performances by Artcell, Chirkut, Aftermath, Rapper Sezan, Rapper Hannan and Silsila. The organizers said that the money raised from this concert will be donated to the Shaheed July Smriti Foundation. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has appeared in front of Dhaka audiences before. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is popular for his playback singing in Bollywood movies along with qawwali and ghazal.
