The seat for which Tasneem Zara bought the nomination form

National Citizens’ Party (NCP) Senior Joint Member Secretary Dr. Tasneem Zara has bought the nomination form to contest from Dhaka-9 constituency. The party’s northern chief organizer Sarjis Alam announced the matter in a Facebook post.
He confirmed Tasneem Zara’s election in a Facebook post on Monday (November 10) midnight. Earlier, Zara collected the nomination form from the party’s temporary head office at Bangla Motor in the capital around 10 pm yesterday.
Regarding her candidacy, Dr. Tasneem said, “I have collected the nomination application form for Dhaka-9 constituency. The party has instructed me to submit the nomination application form by the 13th. So I have joined that process. If given the opportunity, I hope we can bring about change from NCP.”
Dhaka-9 constituency consists of wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 71, 72, 73, 74 and 75 of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), namely Sabujbagh, Khilgaon, Mugda and Manda police stations. BNP has not yet nominated anyone for this constituency. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s nominated candidate for this constituency is Kabir Ahmed.
