The price of gold increased within a day
The price of gold has increased again in the country’s market. In the space of one day, the price of a good quality 22 carat gold bar has been fixed at Tk 1 lakh 38 thousand 708.
This information was informed in the press release signed by Masudur Rahman, Chairman of the Standing Committee of Price Determination and Price Monitoring of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) on Wednesday. The new price of gold will be effective from today Thursday.
According to the new prices, 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold will be sold at Tk 1 lakh 38 thousand 708, 21 carat at Tk 1 lakh 32 thousand 398, 18 carat at Tk 1 lakh 13 thousand 491 and traditional method at Tk 93 thousand 160 per lot. .
However, the price of silver has been kept unchanged. 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka, 21 carat is 2 thousand 6 taka, 18 carat is 1715 taka and the price of traditional silver is 1 thousand 283 taka.
Earlier on Tuesday, Bajus raised the price of gold one step. Today, 22 carat solid gold was sold for 1 lakh 35 thousand 664 taka, 21 carat 1 lakh 29 thousand 505 taka, 18 carat 1 lakh 10 thousand 995 taka and traditional gold for 91 thousand 38 taka.
