The new Director General of Islamic Foundation is Rezanur Rahman
Additional Secretary of Electricity Department has been appointed as the new Director General of Islamic Foundation. Rezanur Rahman. Yesterday Wednesday, in a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration’s Despatch-1 Division, Rezanur Rahman, who served as the Additional Secretary of the Electricity Department, was informed about the posting of the Director General of the Islamic Foundation.
Rezanur Rahman, a BCS 17th batch officer, joined the administration cadre in 1998. After that he served as Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate in various districts, Assistant Commissioner (Land) in Upazila, Upazila Executive Officer and Deputy Secretary and Joint Secretary in various ministries and departments. Last served as Additional Secretary of Electricity Department.
Before joining the Electricity Department, he also served as the Director General of the Anti-Corruption Commission.
Islamic Foundation Bangladesh is a government organization under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. which promotes the ideals and values of Islam and conducts related activities.
The foundation’s head office is located in Dhaka, which implements activities with the support of 7 divisional offices, 64 district offices, 7 imam training centers and 29 Islamic campaign centers. The Director General of the Foundation is the Chief Executive of the organization.
