The last letter written by Lia, killed in an Israeli attack

Many people have lost their lives in the two-year war between Israel and Hamas. One of them is Palestinian schoolgirl Lia. Before the war, Lia and her friend Dalia went to school together. They studied. However, Lia was killed in an Israeli attack.
Before her death, Lia wrote a letter to her dear friend. Before the war, Dalia kept her friends’ letters and bracelets in a small box. And after the war ended, everything was in that box. Not just her friend Lia.
In the letter to Dalia, Lia wrote, ‘I love you. You are my ‘best friend’. Meeting you at school was the happiest day of my life. I hope you never forget me.’
