Body of unidentified elderly woman found lying on the road in Mahadevpur
Police recovered the body of an unidentified old woman in Mahadevpur, Naogaon. The body was recovered from the Monnakuri intersection area of the Naogaon-Najipur highway in the upazila this morning. Police said that in the morning, local people saw the body lying on the side of the road and informed the police station. Later, they went to the spot and recovered the body. Based on initial indications, the police suspected that it could be a road accident. When the body was recovered, the body of the old woman was found in a bloody state. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mahadevpur Police Station Nazrul Islam Jewel confirmed the truth of the incident.
