The battle of lies to attract voters
Just four days after the primary polls for the US presidential election. The campaign for the last-minute, voters has become quite heated. Instead of using civilized language, rumors are heard spreading from the campaign camps of the two main rivals. Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are launching personal attacks against each other.
According to the BBC, Trump – who has been accused of sexually assaulting and harassing porn star Stormy Daniels – called Kamala a “sex worker” and “the devil”. At a rally in New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Trump described Kamala as “a destructive man who destroys everything in his path.” Earlier, Kamala and her campaign attacked Trump as ‘Hitler’ and ‘fascist’. The Democratic Party candidate warned that Trump is chasing unbridled power. In a rally near the White House in Washington, Kamala said that if Trump becomes president again, there will be dangers in both the country and the world.
Primary voting in the 47th US presidential election is on November 5. Before Trump took the stage in New York to speak, some of his allies spoke. One of them said that Kamala Harris, who is seeking to become the first woman president of the United States, “started her career as a sex worker”. Other speakers speak dirty words. David Rem, Trump’s childhood friend, called Kamala the “anti-Christian” and “Satan.” “Kamala and her sex workers are going to destroy our country,” businessman Grant Cardon told the crowd.
Former first lady Melania Trump has come forward for her husband in the face of critics’ attacks after allegations that Trump is a ‘fascist’, he ‘liked’ Adolf Hitler. She said her husband was ‘not Hitler’ and comparing Trump to Hitler was ‘terrible’.
