Teachers will no longer have to take to the streets with their demands: Education Minister

Teachers will no longer have to take to the streets with their demands. Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon has commented that the Prime Minister is giving the highest importance to the Education Ministry. He said this at a briefing at the Education Ministry after exchanging views with the Teachers-Employees Unity Alliance on Sunday (February 22).
The minister said, we will look into the demands of the teachers, whatever you will do for education, you will have to promise. You see nothing but problems. Regarding the Eid bonus, he said, the issue of the 100 percent Eid bonus demand will be reviewed. I will raise it with the Prime Minister. Since it was not mentioned in this year’s budget, the issue will have to be discussed.
In the wake of the allegations that there is not a single honest person in 64 districts, he said, “As a minister and state minister, I have taken an oath not to commit corruption. I will not let anyone else do it. We do not commit corruption, we will not do it, and we will not let anyone else do it.”
