Tarique Rahman is the country’s future Prime Minister: Fakhrul

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is the country’s future Prime Minister, said the party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. He made this comment while attending the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) national conference in Kakrail, the capital, on Saturday (August 9) afternoon. Fakhrul said, “Not only the establishment of a democratic system in the country, not only the right to vote, but all rights including health and rice must be ensured.” He also said, “The country’s doctors are the best in the subcontinent, the problem is in the system. The culture of mutual calculation has destroyed us.” Calling for the elimination of slogan politics, the BNP Secretary General said, “Tarique Rahman is our future Prime Minister.” Mirza Fakhrul called on the interim government to ensure proper treatment for those injured in the July mass uprising.
