A close source said that the necessary approvals including a passport have already been obtained for the already discussed British cat. ‘Jibu’ of Siberian breed is 7 years old. Tarique Rahman is returning not only with his family but also with his beloved cat ‘Jibu’.
Tarique Rahman’s pictures of cuddling with his cat amidst his busy schedule on social media have gone viral many times before. His love for animals has been praised at various times. When he shared some moments spent with Jibu on his verified Facebook ID, it instantly went viral. This is how Jibu became known to BNP leaders and activists as well as ordinary netizens.
In a recent interview with BBC Bangla, Tarique Rahman spoke openly about his pets and love for animals. He laughed and said that the cat originally belonged to his daughter, but now it has become the favorite of the entire family. In that interview, he mentioned the cat’s name ‘Jibu’. He also expressed his views on compassion for animals from a humanitarian and religious perspective. Tarique Rahman said that Allah has created humans as the best creatures of creation; therefore, it is the responsibility of humans to respect and take care of each of His creations. He also commented that if the balance of nature is disturbed, human life can also be endangered.
