Tarique Rahman becomes a voter

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has become a voter in Dhaka-17 constituency. The Election Commission (EC) has approved his inclusion in the voter list.
Earlier, after returning to the country after a long 17 years, the BNP Acting Chairman applied online to become a voter in Ward No. 19 (Gulshan area) of Dhaka-17 constituency. Yesterday, Saturday (December 27) at around 1 pm, he appeared in person at the Election Commission (EC) building in Agargaon and provided his photo, fingerprints, iris image and other biometric information. Through which Tarique Rahman completed the process of becoming a voter.
Before Tarique Rahman, his daughter Barrister Zaima Rahman also applied for a National Identity Card (NID). The Election Commission has approved the inclusion of her name in the voter list along with the BNP Acting Chairman.
Meanwhile, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has started the party’s activities for the first time after returning to the country at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan. At that time, he was welcomed by Standing Committee member Dr. Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Dr. Moin Khan, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy.
