BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at the ‘London Clinic’ in the UK, is eating home-cooked food. The acting chairman of the party’s son Tarique Rahman has brought home-cooked food for her.
A video of Tarique Rahman taking food for his mother to the hospital was uploaded on the Facebook page of the BNP’s media cell around 11pm on Friday, Bangladesh time.
The caption of the video says, “Tarique Rahman along with Dr Jobaida Rahman is taking home-cooked food for Begum Khaleda Zia to the hospital.”.
The 43-second video shows Tarique Rahman and Jobaida Rahman reaching the hospital with a few boxes of foodstuff. At the time, some UK BNP leaders and a BNP executive committee member Tabith Awal were also present.
