Tarique Rahman at Nayapaltan office after 17 years
After a long 17 years, the party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman went to the BNP office in Nayapaltan in the capital. Tarique Rahman left for the party’s central office from his residence on Gulshan Avenue at 3 pm today (December 29). He reached the BNP central office at 4 pm. There, the party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and Treasurer M Rashiduzzaman Millat welcomed the acting chairman with flowers.
Addressing the leaders and activists, Tarique Rahman said, ‘There is no program here today. If the road is closed, it will become difficult for the common people to move normally. So we will try to open the road as soon as possible so that the common people can move normally.’
He said, ‘Insha Allah, when I give a program with you, I will give a speech. Everyone will pray. Insha Allah, I also pray that everyone is well and healthy.’ “Let us try to rebuild our country, no matter what position we find ourselves in.”
