Salman, Anisul & Barrister Sumon were arrested in new 5 cases
Former Law Minister Anisul Haque, former adviser Salman F Rahman, former State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumdar, former member of Parliament Barrister Syed Syedul Haque Sumon and former Secretary Jahangir Alam have been granted a request to be arrested in a new case by the court.
This Wednesday morning Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arifur Rahman granted the application to show their arrest after the hearing. After showing the arrest, the judge ordered to send all of them to jail.
On this day, the accused were brought to the court for the hearing showing the arrest under the tight security of the police and the army.
Among the cases showing arrests, the arrest of former law minister Anisul Haque in one murder case each from Mirpur and Uttara Purba police stations in the capital and Salman F Rahman and Kamal Ahmed Majumdar in the same case from Mirpur police station were shown.
Apart from this, Barrister Sumon was shown arrested in a murder case of Khilgaon Police Station in the capital and Jahangir Alam in a murder case of Lalbagh Police Station.
