Students protest demanding ban on Awami League
Students of the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, an anti-discrimination student movement, held a protest march demanding the banning of the Awami League at the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University.
‘Over 2,000 martyrs, more than 11,000 injured are lying in hospitals in the student movement, after the tears of the prisoners of the mirror house in 15 years, the fascists have escaped, yet this Awami animal group sheds the blood of Abul Kashem in the name of every revolution, how many Abul Kashems and Abu Sayeeds will the Awami League be banned if the blood of such Abul Kashems and Abu Sayeeds is shed?’
Shekru convener of the anti-discrimination student movement, Md. Asadullah, said this about the march.
Protesting the recent murder of Abul Kashem in Gazipur and the atrocities of the mirror house coming to light, demanding the banning of the Awami League, the leaders of the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University and ordinary students marched in front of the university campus and RAB-2 at 10:30 pm on Wednesday, protesting the killing of Abul Kashem and the involvement of the Awami League in all these inhuman activities.
At that time, the editor of the Agriculture and Environment Cell of the Anti-Discrimination Movement, Md. Touhid Ahmed Ashiq, said, ‘The Awami League has not been involved in politics since the country’s independence, but rather, anyone who went against its views had to face atrocities like disappearances, murders, and mirror houses. My private university brothers were subjected to secret murders, Abul Kashem Bhai had to give his life. Is this not enough to ban the Awami League? Or are we waiting for more bloodshed?’
At that time, the students, chanting slogans like “Abu Said is fascinated – the war is not over”, “I want execution, I want execution – I want execution of the murderer Hasina”, “The address of tyranny – it will not be in this Bengal”, “Banned, banned, Awami League is banned”, “Queen of the mirror house – Hasina you are the murderer”, circled the campus and took up positions in front of RAB-2.
At that time, they demanded that the Awami League be banned and that the mirror house be opened for public inspection for six months.
