Stolen pistol recovered from police

The stolen police pistol has been recovered from in front of the Nitaiganj Nagar Bhaban in Narayanganj city. The firearm was recovered from behind the Bandar Fire Service Station at around 2:30 am yesterday, Monday (March 9).
Earlier, a young man named Mishal was arrested from the Bepari Para area of ​​Bandar on suspicion of involvement in the pistol theft. Based on the information obtained during Mishal’s initial interrogation, the police launched an operation last night. At around 2:30 am, a search was conducted behind the Bandar Fire Service Station with Mishal. The pistol stolen from the police hidden in a bag was recovered there.
Yesterday, a group of robbers snatched the pistol of Assistant Sub-Inspector (SSP) Lutfar Rahman of Sadar Police Station from in front of the Nitaiganj Nagar Bhaban in the city. Narayanganj Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Operations) Tarek Al Mehedi said that weapons and 16 rounds of ammunition have been recovered in the incident of weapons theft.
