Steps to bring Hadi’s killers back: Home Minister

Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed said, the Home Ministry has taken steps to bring Hadi’s killers back. We have requested the Foreign Minister to ask India to return them as per the extradition treaty. We will make every effort to bring them back. He said this at a press conference after the Cox’s Bazar District Law and Order Committee meeting yesterday (March 9).
The Home Minister said, we will never allow the Janata culture to advance in Bangladesh, it must be stopped and it will be eradicated from Bangladesh, InshaAllah. He also said, we will not allow any terrorist, gunman, extortionist, organized criminal to remain outside the law. We will bring them under the law, this is our promise, commitment. This is also the expectation of the people.
Regarding Cox’s Bazar, Salahuddin Ahmed said, a beach management committee will be formed to bring the Cox’s Bazar sea beach under control. He also announced the installation of CCTV cameras across the city and the control of TomToms in the city. The Home Minister also announced a ban on drug smuggling on the Ukhia-Teknaf route.
