Police said that the miscreants opened fire and lobbed mortar shells at a house. They quickly left the area after the attack. The victims were identified as Muslim, Mullah Yusuf, Fazila, Gul Naz, Changez and Zahra. Abdul Ghaffar and his two daughters Sara and Ayesha were injured.
The bodies of the deceased and the injured have been taken to a local hospital. Police said that the attackers fled the scene.
