Shuttle bus service is starting in DU

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan said that the shuttle bus service will be started soon in the campus for Dhaka University (DU) students.

He said this when a six-member delegation led by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Additional Commissioner (Traffic) Khondkar Nazmul Hasan came to meet him at his office on Monday.

DU Vice-Chancellor said that the matter of starting shuttle bus service in Dhaka University campus is under process to facilitate the movement of students. He expressed hope for the speedy launch of this bus service. The Vice-Chancellor sought the overall cooperation of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police in various matters including the development of traffic management in the campus.

At this time, the treasurer of the university, Professor Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam Chowdhury and Proctor Associate Professor Saifuddin Ahmad were present.
