Shooting at university dormitory in the United States, 2 dead
Two people were killed and one injured in a shooting at a dormitory at South Carolina State University in the United States. The incident occurred on Thursday (February 12) local time. The university authorities said in a statement that a lockdown has been imposed on the entire campus following the incident.
The statement also said that the university authorities have not yet released any confirmed information about the identities of the victims or the physical condition of the injured person. The university said that it has assigned the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Department to investigate the incident. South Carolina State University has more than 3,000 students. It is one of two historically black universities in the city of Orangeburg.
