Sheikh Hasina has been accused of trying to kill Khaleda Zia
A case has been filed by BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia for obstructing her work by placing a truck full of sand in front of her house and trying to kill her.
113 people including Awami League president and former prime minister Sheikh Hasina have been accused in the case.
Shariful Islam Shaon, a member of the Central Committee of the Nationalist Farmers Party, filed the case at Gulshan police station on Friday afternoon.
BNP alleged that for a long time, Khaleda Zia was kept under house arrest by placing a truck full of sand in front of her house. A large number of policemen were deployed there. In the meantime, an attempt was made to kill the BNP chairperson.
On December 29, 2013, several sand-filled trucks were placed in front of Feroza, the home of then opposition leader Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan. As a result, she could not participate in the ‘March for Democracy’ program announced by BNP that day.
