Instead of repenting for crimes like disappearances, Sheikh Hasina is trying to destabilize the country by sitting abroad; which is a kind of criminal offense, Local Government Minister and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has alleged. He said this at a program organized on the occasion of the journey of making the film ‘Mayer Dak’ at the Bangladesh Film Archive Auditorium today, Sunday (March 8).
The minister said that the future of every missing family is still uncertain. Despite being given various allowances, the families of the missing are not able to live comfortably. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that it is important to provide allowances to the families of the missing and a letter will be written to the Prime Minister in this regard.
State Minister for Information Yaser Khan Chowdhury was also present at the time. He said that the missing should not be tried, but the victims of the disappearance should be returned. The State Minister also said that he does not want any more disappearances, killings, and bloodshed politics in the history of Bangladesh.
