Shamrat dies after falling from 10th floor

A worker named Md. Samrat alias Hasan (20) has died after falling from the 10th floor while working on AC in the capital. The incident took place at 10/A Pakija Sky Tas Building in Dhanmondi on Wednesday morning.

Dhanmondi Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Babul Hossain confirmed this information. He said that Samrat is an AC helper by profession. This morning, he died on the spot after falling from the top while working on AC in a flat on the 10th floor of a 12-storey building in Dhanmondi 10/A Pakija Sky Tas Building. The body was recovered from there around 10 am after receiving information. Later, after completing the legal process, it was sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy this afternoon.

Samrat is a resident of Tarabaria village in Sujanagar upazila of Pabna district. He used to live in a rented accommodation in Moghbazar Butter Lane.
