Security guard tied up and robbed

A robbery incident took place at the Ispahani Tea Divisional Office located in Sheikhpara Barabangram area of ​​Shah Makhdum Police Station in Rajshahi metropolis. A security guard was tied up and robbed at around 4:30 am today (November 30). Officer-in-Charge of Shah Makhdum Police Station, Machuma Mustari, confirmed the matter.
He said that the robbers entered the office by climbing the wall and first tied the hands, feet and face of the two security guards in charge of the office. After that, they broke the lock of the main office room on the second floor and entered inside, vandalized various drawers and looted Tk 1,77,000.
In addition, they broke the drawer of the sales center on the ground floor and took another Tk 38,500. The robbers fled with a total of Tk 215,500. The OC said that immediately after the incident, the police visited the scene and collected various evidence including CCTV footage. An investigation is underway to identify the robbers and legal proceedings have already been initiated.
