Scrap shop gutted in Chittagong

A scrap shop has been gutted in a fire in the Chawkbazar area of ​​Chittagong. The fire broke out at Syed Chan Mia Tower intersection at Telapatti intersection in Chawkbazar around 10:15 am today, Thursday (December 18). Later, two units of the fire service reached the spot and brought the fire under control after 11 am.
Fire Service Deputy Assistant Director Abdul Mannan said, “The fire broke out at a scrap shop on the ground floor of a one-storey building in Telapatti. No one was injured in the incident. It was not immediately known how the fire started or the financial extent of the damage.”
