Schoolgirl killed by cow

A girl named Sharaban Tahura Nizum (15) was killed by a cow in Lohagara, Chittagong. The incident took place in front of Padua ACM High School today (March 11) at around 12 noon. Nizum is the daughter of Mahfuzur Rahman and Rokeya Begum of Mallick Chobhan Nazrali Sikder Para (Tewarikhil) area of ​​Amirabad Mallick and is an SSC examinee of the science department of Padua ACM High School.
Locals said that Nizum had gone to school to take part in a coaching exam. On her way home after the exam, a cow brought to the market at the main gate of the school for sale forcefully nudged Nizum. Nizum was seriously injured. Locals rescued her and took her to the Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor declared her dead.
Nizum’s mother Rokeya Begum said, “Like every day, my daughter met with an accident on her way home after coaching.” Before we knew it, everything was over. Upon receiving the news, a team from Lohagara police station visited the scene. Dr. Kishore Sadia, a doctor at the emergency department of the Upazila Health Complex, said that a student injured in a cow attack died soon after being brought to the hospital. Enayet Hossain, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Lohagara police station, said that the body of the deceased has been recovered and an autopsy report has been prepared. Legal action is under process in this incident.
