According to the UN Financial Tracking Service, Saudi Arabia is the second largest contributor to providing humanitarian aid in the world. 49.3 percent of the total aid provided in Yemen came from Saudi Arabia. In addition, the country ranks second in providing aid to the Syrian Arab Republic.
In addition, a 2024 report on development assistance showed that Saudi Arabia ranks second among donor countries and tenth among 48 donor countries worldwide.
Dr. Al-Saud, supervisor of the Saudi government aid agency KS Relief, said: Abdullah Al-Rabiah said that all information related to this aid is being stored in real time on a platform called ‘Saudi Aid’, which is the largest humanitarian aid database in the Middle East.
