Sarjis challenges BNP leaders in his area against extortion

This time, Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of the Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) in the northern region, has challenged BNP leaders and workers in his area Panchagarh against extortion. He said that even if he is given the challenge to prove the activities of BNP leaders in his area, no one will be in a position to show their faces. He said this in a post on his verified Facebook account today, Monday (September 8). In the post, Sarjis mentioned that on that day, in a view-sharing meeting in Panchagarh, I had said that some BNP leaders and workers of Tentulia upazila are regularly involved in extortion. The common people are annoyed with them. This has started annoying them and some of their beneficiaries. He mentioned that for the first time, I only warned them. Now if you challenge them to prove it, then think, will you not be in a position to show your face. Because you know better than me how many types of misdeeds you are involved in and how much illegal money you have earned this year. The common people of Tentulia know better. If they present evidence, it will not be limited to Tentulia alone. The whole of Bangladesh will see. Where are they preparing to hide their faces? He also mentioned that from extortion on stone trucks from Banglabandha land port, illegal dredging machines for extracting sand and stone in the dark of night to looting in the name of tenders, from various projects to extorting huge amounts of money from businessmen outside the district; everything will be revealed. Sarjis said, who gave what to whom, who is whose right hand, who is whose left hand, whose family members are involved in what work, all the information is there. The days of the big voice of the thief’s mother are over. The mask of being a leader in the clothes of a saint will be completely removed. Sarjis concluded the post by writing, “Just a matter of time.”
