    Remittance flow decreased in November

    Remittance flow decreased in November compared to October. In the last month, 219.95 million US dollars in remittances came to the country, which is an average of 73.3 million dollars per day.

    In November, 824.21 million dollars came from state-owned banks, 145.86 million dollars from specialized banks, 1223.15 million dollars from private banks, and 628 million dollars came from foreign sector banks.

    Bangladesh Bank said that from November 24 to 30, $473.15 million was received in remittances, from November 17 to 23, $471.22 million was received, from November 10 to 16, $601.40 million was received, from November 3 to 9, $612.58 million was received, and from November 1 to 3, $424.10 million was received.

    Earlier, after $2.5386 million in remittances in June, the lowest remittance in July was about $1.91 billion. However, after the formation of the interim government, the situation began to normalize. $2.2213 million was received in August, and the highest remittance in September was $2.479 billion. $2.395 million was received in October.
