‘Reform first, election later, it’s not meaningful ‘
BNP Standing Committee member Abdul Moin Khan said, ‘Reform never stops. Reform first, election later or election later, reform first. These are no meaningful talks’.
He said, ‘The new generation could not vote. They want to vote. The reform administration and police which are essential for elections, must be reformed and elections held’.
He said these after paying homage to BNP founder Ziaur Rahman at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital on Wednesday morning on the occasion of the 46th founding anniversary of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal.
Moin Khan said, ‘BNP has struggled against democracy and injustice for 17 long years. On October 28, 2023, the last dictatorial government killed democracy’.
He said, ‘The movement you saw last July and August is the movement against the last dictator Hasina. Chhatra Dal played an important role in that movement.’
Moin Khan also said, ‘The right to vote must be brought back to Bangladesh. This will establish the rights of the people.
