Record-breaking price storm in the gold market

Gold prices have been increased again in the country’s market. This time, the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has increased the price of 22-carat gold bars by Tk 1,574 per baht to Tk 1,91,196. This is the highest price of this precious metal in the country’s history. Which will be effective from Tuesday (September 23).
The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced the increase in gold prices last Monday night. BAJUS said that this price has been increased in view of the increase in the price of acid gold (pure gold) in the local market.
BAJUS said that the new price of 22-carat gold has been increased by Tk 1,574 to Tk 1,91,196 from last Tuesday. 21-carat gold bars have been increased by Tk 1,796 to Tk 1,82,495. The price of 18-carat gold bars has been increased by Tk 1,540 to Tk 1,56,426. And the price of gold per bhori in the traditional method has been increased by 1,318 taka to 1,29,797 taka.
Although the price of gold has been increased, the price of silver has remained unchanged. However, the price of silver was increased on September 16. The price of 22-carat silver bhori has been fixed at 3,476 taka. In addition, 21-carat silver bhori has been fixed at 3,313 taka, 18-carat silver bhori at 2,846 taka and traditional silver bhori at 2,135 taka.
