Rangpur Riders made history. The Bangladeshi franchise was crowned champions in the first edition of the Global Super League. Rangpur defeated Victoria by 56 runs in the final stage.
Batting first at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Saturday morning, Bangladesh time, Rangpur scored 178 runs for the loss of 3 wickets at the end of the stipulated overs under the leadership of Soumya Sarkar. Victoria was bundled out for 122 runs in 18.1 overs.
