Railway line in Natore locked, fear of sabotage

An attempt was made to sabotage the railway lines in Naldanga, Natore by installing locks and shackles. However, no accident or casualties occurred. The incident took place on Sunday (August 3) night at Palashitala near Madhnagar Railway Station in the upazila. The officer-in-charge (OC) of Naldanga Police Station said that miscreants tried to sabotage the lines on the south side of the station by installing chains and locks. Locals saw the matter and immediately informed the police. Later, the police reached the spot and broke the locks and chains. Incidentally, no damage was caused as the train was travelling on another line during the time the chains and locks were installed.
