    PSC letter to postpone oath-taking of newly appointed members.

    The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has sent a letter to the Supreme Court to postpone the oath-taking of newly appointed members. A letter was sent to the Registrar General’s Office of the Supreme Court on Wednesday to postpone the oath-taking. The PSC sent it.

    The oath-taking of new members was scheduled to be held tomorrow, Thursday.

    The letter said that due to urgent work related to the examination of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission, a request has been made to postpone the previously scheduled date of 9/01/2025 for the oath-taking of newly appointed members.

    On January 2, the government appointed 6 more members to the PSC. They are Professor Dr. Shahnaz Sarkar, Md. Munir Hossain, Brigadier General (Retd.) Dr. AF Jaglul Ahmed, Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Sabbir Ahmed Chowdhury and Professor Dr. Syeda Shahina Sobhan.
