Proxy examinee caught: Jailed while appearing for viva in Rajbari

A candidate named Abdur Razzak, who passed the written part of the primary teacher recruitment examination in Rajbari using a proxy, has been sentenced to 20 days of simple imprisonment and fined Tk 100 by a mobile court on charges of forgery while appearing for the viva examination. The incident took place during the oral examination (viva) at the Rajbari Deputy Commissioner’s office on Sunday (February 1) afternoon. The convicted Abdur Razzak is the son of Abdul Majed of Ashurhat area of ​​Pangsha upazila of Rajbari.
According to sources in the Rajbari Deputy Commissioner’s office, another person passed in place of Abdur Razzak after appearing for the written examination for the primary teacher recruitment held on January 9. The issue of fraud came to light at one stage during the interrogation of the candidates who passed the viva board held today. After the fraud was confirmed, a mobile court was immediately set up there on the orders of the district administration’s Executive Magistrate Abubakar Siddique and Abdur Razzak was sentenced to 20 days of mandatory imprisonment and a fine of Tk 100.
