‘Propaganda that it will be easy to go to heaven if you vote is a fraud’

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has commented that Jamaat has created an army to carry out false propaganda using digital technology. At this time, he said, ‘Propaganda that it will be easy to go to heaven if you vote is a fraud on the people.’
He said these things at a discussion meeting organized on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the Nationalist Ulema Party at the National Press Club on Tuesday (October 14) afternoon.
Rizvi said, ‘Jamaat has created an army to carry out false propaganda using digital technology. Is Jamaat-e-Islami selling tickets to heaven like medieval priests? Refrain from misleading people in this way.’
Says that Jamaat is conspiring to rig the elections, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General said, ‘Jamaat is trying to impose PR on the strength of its anger. The party is conspiring to spoil the election by creating various controversies like PR, reforms, referendum.’
Noting that the common people do not know about PR, Rizvi said, ‘Those who are talking about a referendum in November have a master plan, they are trying to delay the national election by misleading with conditions.’
He also said, ‘Jamaat loves to follow the Awami League’s tail-wagging, why are they still making rules and regulations to get Awami League votes? They are only talking outside the principles of Islam to come to power.’ Incidentally, Jamaat has demanded a referendum before the parliamentary elections in November this year to implement the National July Charter. On the contrary, BNP has proposed organizing a referendum on the day of the national parliament elections.
