Prime Minister reaches Saidpur, goes to Dinajpur by road
Prime Minister and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman has reached Saidpur Airport in Nilphamari. The Prime Minister is going to Dinajpur by road from Saidpur. He arrived at Saidpur Airport by plane at 10:15 am today, Monday (March 16). At that time, leaders and activists welcomed him with flowers.
A press release sent from the Prime Minister’s Office said that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will inaugurate the ‘Drain Excavation Program-2026’ by digging the ‘Sahapara Canal’ in Balrampur of Kaharol Upazila of Dinajpur today.
On this occasion, he left Dhaka Airport for Saidpur Airport by domestic flight at 9:30 am. After reaching Saidpur, the Prime Minister will go to the venue by road from there. According to the itinerary sent yesterday, the Prime Minister will formally inaugurate this national program by digging the ‘Sahapara Canal’. Later, at 12:30 pm, the Prime Minister will address a public meeting there as the chief guest.
After the public meeting, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will visit the Sheikh Farid Model Graveyard in the district in the afternoon. He will pay homage to the graves of his grandparents and aunt buried there. After that, the Prime Minister is scheduled to participate in a Sudhi Sambal and Iftar Mahfil organized at the Dinajpur Circuit House premises at 5 pm.
