Prime Minister presents rank badges to two promoted army officers

For the first time, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman performed duties at his office in the Armed Forces Division located in Dhaka Cantonment. He reached there at 9 am today (February 23) and conducted his official activities. Upon reaching the Prime Minister’s Office, he was warmly welcomed by senior officers of the armed forces. After that, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman exchanged greetings with the armed forces chiefs.
A special part of this first official visit was the presentation of rank badges to two promoted senior army officers. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman personally presented their new rank badges to Lieutenant General Mir Mushfiqur Rahman and Major General Kaiser Rashid Chowdhury. At the time, the Prime Minister wished the promoted officers a bright future and praised the role of the armed forces in the sovereignty and security of the country.
